What is cyber bullying? Definition: The electronic posting of a mean spirited message of a person.
What is netiquette? Definition: the rules of etiquette that apply when communicating over computer networks, especially the Internet.
What is digital citizenship? Definition: the norms of appropriate, responsible technology use.
Ignore it at first If this is the first mean message, save the message and ignore it. Chances are that the bully will stop if you don’t give a reaction.
Tell a trusted adult If the bullying continues, tell a trusted adult, like a parent or teacher.
Stand up to the bully If you have had enough with the bully, tell them. Be sure to tell them in a nice way so you aren’t a bully also.
If someone you know is being cyber bullied Give them support and stand up to the bully. Be sure not to be a bully back.
Don’t be a Cyber Bully If someone online annoying you, think before you type. Anything online can be saved, and you could have serious consequences.
