  1. Rotary Club of VanLandingham on Hilton Head Island, SC B.W.Harris School Fund Raising Proposal Presented By Eugene Bedell Sr.

Introduction • B.W.Harris School was founded in 1959 in Monrovia. • The school has about 680 students from kindergarten to grade 12 (twelve). • Eugene Bedell and Cherrine Smith aretasked with raising $200K within the next four years for the original school building infrastructure development. • Note that all contributions are tax deductible.

  3. Fund Raising Strategy • Two fund raisers will be held each year except this year 2012 where we will have one fund raising activity • Work with the Rotary Club of VanLandingham, Hilton Head Island SC to raise the $200k • Coordinate Rotary Club of VanLandingham, Hilton Head Island SC fund raising efforts with the Rotary Club of Monrovia

  4. Infrastructure Development • Assessment to determine physical condition of school building • Identify problems • Design development of the solution • Develop tentative costs

  6. Proposal • We are asking the Rotary Club of VanLandingham to help us raise the $200K and be our partner • Requesting that Rotary Club of VanLandingham make our project their first international project and nationalize the fund raising effort if possible
