What will be on the tri-fold? • Person’s name and your name • Birth date and place and date of passing • What is your person best known for? • How did your person help others and contribute to society? • Family background information • Education and job/career information • Major life events • Other interesting information • Pictures of your person

  6. What is a monologue? • Use index cards to organize your presentation • You will be talking as if you were the person you researched • Try to memorize the information by practicing the reading

  7. The Fun Part • Dress up like your person • You can wear clothes from that era • You can wear a wig or hat • Dressing up is optional but encouraged • Use pictures from your research to help you pick out a “costume”
