  4. Prší, prší, jen se leje. (Its raining, raining, just pouring.) Kam koničky pojedeme? (Where are we going to go by horse?) Pojedeme na luka, (We’ll go to the meadows,) Až kukačka zakuká. (When the cuckoo calls)

  5. Kukú, kukú. Kukáčka už zakukala, (The cuckoo has begun to call,) Má panenka zaplakala. (My doll has begun to cry.) Ty, kukačko, nekukej, (You, cuckoo, don’t call) Má panenko, neplakej! (My doll, don’t cry!)

  6. Vocalic r, l l : plný vlhký vlk vlna plž pohltit mlha klnu blb slzy Už mám toho plné zuby! I’m totally fed up with this! (I have my teeth full of it!)
