Timeline • May 1, 2011 Decision to change • July 1, 2011 Formal support agreement with Microsoft • September 8, 2011 Discussion with administrators • December 22, 2011 1st email to DSD staff announcing conversion instructions • January 16, 2012 2nd email to DSD staff announcing conversion instructions • February 15, 2012 3rd email to DSD staff announcing conversion instructions
Implementation • March 1, 2012 Go Live date for Exchange, Outlook, and Lync @DSDmail.org becomes available GroupWise becomes read only. No in or out email to GroupWise • June 15, 2012 GroupWise goes offline permanently Access to old email available only through Archive To Go
Challenges • Old email will not be moved to your new mailbox • Old cabinet will not be moved to your new mailbox • Access to old mailbox and cabinet will be via Archive To Go • GroupWise address book and contacts will not be moved to your new email services • Mail will continue to be accepted at DSDmail.net account and forwarded to new domain well into the future
