  1. Raoult’s Law applies to water and tells you how much water is going into the vapor phase. This is important with regard to evaporation in a dry climate. Henry’s Law applies to dissolved gases in the water (like oxygen and carbon dioxide). This is important to make sure your fish can breathe. Aquatic plants will convert carbon dioxide released by the fish into oxygen, which the fish needs. Plastic plants won’t help, but they look nice.
