  6. Interesting Alamo Facts • James Bowie and Davie Crockett were two of the most famous men in the Alamo. • They held off the Mexican army for 13 days. There were about 200 soldiers in the Alamo • We know what happened from a handful of survivors. Especially Susanna Dickinson • 600 Mexicans and 200 Texans died that day
