Assumptions Used • NGN region has approx 6.7m inhabitants • NGN has approx 2.4m domestic customers • Assuming household occupancy of 2.28 • Suggests 2.9m houses in NGN region • Therefore estimated connection level of 82% • Therefore of the 300k unoccupied homes quoted in mod 282, approx 245k will have a gas connection
