  2. Complete the Presentation Cycle • The process of preparing a presentation in Microsoft PowerPoint generally follows a presentation cycle.

  3. Use an Installed Template To start Microsoft PowerPoint 2010: • Click the Start button on the Taskbar. • Point to All Programs at the pop-up menu. • Click Microsoft Office. • Click Microsoft PowerPoint 2010. Start button

  15. Navigate in a Presentation To navigate in a presentation using the mouse: • Click the Next Slide button or Previous Slide button on the vertical scroll bar. To navigate in a presentation using the Slides/Outline pane: • Click the Outline tab located toward the top of the Slides/Outline pane. • Click in the desired slide. Plan a Presentation Consider the following basic guidelines when preparing the content for a presentation: • Determine the main purpose of the presentation. • Determine the output. • Show one idea per slide. • Maintain a consistent design. • Keep slides easy to read and uncluttered. • Determine printing needs.
