Flagship Bound for H.S. Seniors • High school seniors accepted by Macaulay College at Hunter. • Spring semester college-level online Chinese. • Summer college-level program with scholarships to cover tuition. • Summer Flagship Bound support: $500. • Freshmen become Flagship students.
Macaulay Honors College • Two years of free dorm • Maintain GPA 3.5 • Study abroad scholarships: $7,500 • Free laptop • Free tuition • Honors courses • Macaulay seminars • Can apply to Chinese Flagship Program

Individual Sessions All Flagship students receive a minimum of 3 hours per week of one-on-one instruction to develop literacy skills, for a total of 50 hours of individualized instruction during the fall semester.
Culture & Exchange Activities Flagship students spent an afternoon with youth ambassadors from National Taiwan University.
Culture & Exchange Activities Flagship students went to the Walter Reade theater for the EASTERN PROMISE: POPULAR CINEMA FROM CHINA filmseries.
Culture & Exchange Activities Flagship students went to the Brooklyn Academy of Music to see Cloud Gate Dance Theatre of Taiwan.
Culture & Exchange Activities Flagship students traveled to Staten Island to visit the Chinese Scholar Garden.
STARTALK Program • Honors Chinese for high school students in grades 9 to 12, 20 students each summer. • Teacher training program for pre-service and in-service teachers, 20 participants each summer

Teacher Training Program • Free • Earn 12 graduate credits with scholarships to cover tuition • Credits are counted toward MA degree and certification • 7 weeks (one week intensive workshop, 4 weeks of classroom practicum and student teaching, 2 weeks of online practicum) • Fall semester Chinese pedagogy courses
