Genesis 1 • What God “said”, “created”, and “made” is emphasized in this the chapter • Lesson: we are the result of purposeful, divine creation; God is our Creator and Maker
Genesis 1 • Important for our youth to remember this (Eccl. 12:1) • Keeps us from serving self (Rom. 1:25) • We must not forget our Maker (Prov. 14:31; Hos. 8:14; 1 Pet. 4:19)
