Capital Slide • 400 feet tall • There is an observation deck at 250 feet • 15 floors • 3rd tallest building in Nebraska • Designed by Bertman Goodhue • Constructed between 1922 and 1932 • Construction started April 15th 1922 • The cost was $9,800,449 • It was nicknamed “The tower of the plains”

  4. Tourist Attraction Slide #1 If your looking for a place to visit in Nebraska this is one of the places to go. Visit Buffalo Bill ranch state Historical park. William Cody (nicknamed Bill) put together the first rodeo there on July 4th 1882. About 1,000 cowboys tried it out. Soon, it was called Buffalo Bills Wild West Show. It toured all over the USA and Europe. William Cody got the nickname by killing 4,280 buffalo.

  5. Tourist Attraction Slide #2 Another cool place to visit in Nebraska is the National Museum of Roller Skating. The museum contains the largest amount of roller skates, dating back to 1819, in the world. It also contains metals, trophies, photographs, films, videotapes, and costumes. The museum holds about 1,500 volumes of roller skating books and magazines. There is also over 8,000 photographs. It is located in Lincoln, Nebraska.
