Gordon Haber with Wolves By Spencer Lewis
Where the Facts Came From The facts I will be showing are from a guy named Gordon Haber who really cared about wolves, dedicated his life to wolves, and he studied them for about 40 years until he died in a plane crash in 2009. He was only 67 when he died. The information I am showing you all came from his discoveries.
How Smart are Wolves? Gordon discovered that wolf pups learn very fast. In only 2 weeks they can already solve their own problems like hunting and getting food and they are very independent. It does not take them long at all to learn from their mistakes. They are really smart
How Social are Wolves? Wolves are very socially advanced animals. They are more social and interact with each other more than most animals. They are also really close with their families and try hard to stay together. Over the years when Gordon Haber learned about wolves and how social they are around each other.
Killing Wolves • Gordon Haber is concerned about wolves being killed by humans. They have no reason to kill the wolves. It is also unfair that they have airplanes and guns. The wolves have no way to protect themselves and they shouldn't be killed.
Wolf Experiments • Gordon wrote about his difficulties with Alaskan state polices. The main problem for the wolves is the government approves the killings. The government approves experiments on wolves to make them not able to have children. This information has been hidden from the public.
