Partnership to Advance Clean Energy (PACE) Partners: Government of India & US Department of Energy Program coordinated by DBT & DST and administered through IUSSTF Objective: Facilitate joint R&D aimed towards deployment for clean energy technologies Priority Areas: Solar energy Second generation biofuels Energy efficiency of buildings Funding: $100 million (INR 530 crore) over 5 years, equal funding from each side both government and private Establishment of Indo- US Clean Energy Research & Development Center (JCERDC)

US-India Endowment Board Partners: GOI & USG Program administered through IUSSTF Objective: To facilitate joint applied R&D and related technology commercialization activities Initial priority areas: Healthy Individuals Empowered Citizens Funding: equivalent of $30 million (INR 160 crore) endowed fund Establishment of US-India Endowment Board
