Top Mass Using e-tagging of B Jets • Basic cuts (same as PRD) • Neural Networks(same as PRD) • e-tagging(CTool) • Mass from double tagged events using PRD sample(~100 events) • Possible larger sample (~300,000) used in Eunil’s thesis C. Hebert 22 October 99
E-tagging Efficiencies and Backgrounds • Next: Find efficiencies & BG to a few % • ttbar Alljets MC fully Geanted + hand scan • bbar MC + hand scan check • background --> QCD Data
Status • Re-GEANTed old HERWIG • Tested analysis chain with this sample • Scanning setup on CD’s Onyx computer is ready • Full GEANT is running at FSU (Brian)
Efficiency • Probability{electron is found| e from a b or c quark in the CCEM region with E>15 GeV and has a CDC track}
