  2. What is the problem ? Many people do not have enough money to pay electric bills and buy batteries. Nowadays, electric bills and the buying of batteries is expensive.

  3. So what is the problem we intend to solve ? We intend to solve the problem of wasting money, buying expensive batteries. The main reason we came out with this product is to save electricity and to save the Environment.

  4. Who will benefit from our entry ? • People who are under financial assistance. • People who can’t be bordered to go to convenient store to get new batteries. • People who want to save the earth.

  5. What unique value does your entry offer to users? • Money: do not need to waste money to buy batteries • Time: do not need to waste time going to stores to buy new batteries • Energy: do not need to waste energy to travel to buy batteries • Eco-friendly: uses solar energy

  6. Does our entry effectively solve the problem? How do you know? Yes! It is effective as it solves the problem of having to spend money to get new batteries, saves time, energy and it is eco-friendly as well.

  7. What type of research did you conduct? Actually, we had this idea when we were having a science remedial during the June holidays in 2010. There was one setup of using kinetic energy and converting it into electricity to light up bulbs. So, we thought of using solar energy instead of kinetic energy to charge the batteries.

  8. What impact did this project have on our team? What did you learn by participating? We learnt how we can make use of the things around us and turn it into something useful and of course we learn how to work together as a team even though there were rough times.
