Exam Structure(pg 86-89 Revision Guide) Section A - Design Question • Based on a preparation sheet (March 1st) • Common sense approach for design criteria and justification – write something sensible! • Make sure every decision is annotated (labelled) and explained. • Marks are awarded for creativity and clarity – make designs clear and interesting. • Show how your idea has developed. • Evaluation questions need you to reflect on how effective • the design is (like in the coursework) Section B – Knowledge Questions • Can cover any content from the revision guide. • You will be asked to show knowledge about materials and processes • You may be asked to argue for or against an ethical issue or state advantages and disadvantages. • ForALL questions explain the answers you have given in full detail. • You need to make a comment/give an explanation for every mark the question is worth. Read the question carefully!
