You'll liaise with different departments undertaking some project engineering tasks and being self-sufficient, therefore getting on with the job at hand, keeping to deadlines, and working within cost, quality and delivery constraints. To fulfil these requirements you must have the following skills / experience:-Experience of designing from customer specifications using 2D & 3D design AutoCAD and Solidworks preferably-Experience of hand calculations, Mathcad would be desirable-Experience of running your own project from initial concept through to completion -Understanding and experience of fabrication and assembly drawings -Understanding of ISO9001, ISO14001 and API standards-Understanding of FEA Analysis Other key criteria are : Autodesk Inventor, Solid Works, Solid Edge, Unigraphics, NX, Catia, Inventor, AutoCAD, Jigs and Fixtures, Tooling, Mechanical Design Engineer, Draughtsman, Draughtsperson , Assembly drawings, 3D CAD, 2D CAD.
