BTOP BROADBAND GRANT • Updates and Changes • Over 267 anchor tenants of been identified as having or possibly having fiber service today and 59 Telemedicine sites have been removed because of grant overlap • If there is a question whether or not fiber exists, then the anchor tenant will remain on the list. • If it is verified any of these anchor tenants have fiber; the POC’s can decide to a) keep them as an anchor tenant with no new fiber being deployed and receive a BTOP router to enhance broadband service to the facility, b) add a possible replacement location for consideration. • Any special construction costs to have fiber terminated at the local anchor tenant DMARC will be paid for by the BTOP grant of any ordinary build-out costs. • We can begin build-out of new fiber to locations which utilize current pathway designs and no new engineering. • Our rollout of new fiber construction for new pathways will be based on the state’s identified geographic regions. • West Virginia BTOP Broadband Grant NT10BIX5570031
