Definisi Desain Grafis • Menurut Jessica Helfand : merupakan kombinasi komplek kata2 dan gambar, angka2 dan grafik, foto dan ilustrasi yg membutuhkan pemikiran khusus dari seorang individu yang bisa menggabungkan elemen ini shg  sesuatu yg khusus, mengejutkan atau sesuatu yang mudah diingat. • Menurut Suyanto : aplikasi dari keterampilan seni dan komunikasi untuk kebutuhan bisnis dan industri. • Desain grafis adalah salah satu bentuk seni lukis terapan yg memberi kebebasan pada desainer untuk memilih, menciptakan, atau mengatur elemen rupa seperti ilustrasi, foto, tulisan, dan garis di atas suatu permukaan dengan tujuan untuk diproduksi dan dikomunikasikan sebagai sebuah pesan.
