CONCLUSIONS • PETER HEYL, WIFE SUSANNA CATHARINA ULRICH, AND FOUR CHILDREN MOVED FROM HUNDSBACH, DISTRICT OF KREUZNACH TO AMERICA IN 1738 ON THE ROBERT AND ALICE • PETER HEYL MARRIED THE MILLER’S DAUGHTER AND LEARNED THE TRADE
THE HEYLS WERE VERY RELIGIOUS BEING GERMAN REFORMED • PETER HEYL WAS AMBITIOUS, MOVING TO AMERICA TO BETTER HIMSELF • HE ACQUIRED 800 ACRES OF GOOD LAND IN PRESENT GASTON COUNTY • MOST OF HIS LAND WAS KEPT IN THE FAMILY
HE NEVER OWNED THE HOYLE HOUSE LAND • THE HOYLE HOUSE IS LOCATED ON THE 1765 LAND GRANT OF JOHN HOYLE • THE HOYLE HOUSE WAS BUILT SOMETIME AFTER 1765 EITHER BY JOHN HOYLE OR HIS SON, “RICH” ANDREW HOYL
