At least 20 GOLD members, maybe 25, Albe, Patrick, Bill and Dick and Ray gave talks. Me and two or three old dogs were around to socialize with the youngs” (Jean-Luc Leray) “I think the GOLD event went well. There were about 35 GOLD and new members and 7 seniors. […] especially Bill, did a great job. […] The GOLD  and new members stayed and seemed happy to talk with people and each other and when we left at 2100 about half were still sitting and talking” […] I have suggested to management that they consider a breakfast as an alternative – or to provide better food because the students have a hard time paying for stuff here.
