Rules • Adjectives describe nouns. • To compare two people, places, or things add “er” to the adjective. • One person: • My brother is tall. • Two persons: • My brother is taller than my mother.
Rules • To compare three or more people, places, or things add “est” to the adjective. • One person: • Sally is smart. • Two persons: • Sally is smarter than you. • Three or more persons: • Sally is the smartest student in class.
