  2. 1: Things that are similar in some waysas+adjective+as Example: This cat is as clean as that one.

  3. 2: Things that are different notas + adjective +as Example: The Mona Lisaisnot as old asSunflowers. (The Mona Lisa was painted in the 15th century; Sunflowers was painted in the 19th century.)

  4. Things that are different different from Example: The colour of Alan’s swimming trunks is different from George’s.

  5. 3:To compare two things using the –er form of adjective + than Example: Aerobics is fasterthan tai-chi.

  6. Karen is 1.5 metres tall. Mary is 1.5 metres tall.  Give me a sentence to compare Karen and Mary. ? Exercise: Things that are similaras + adjective + as

  12. Make sentences using summer, hot, spring sending a parcel by air, fast, sending a parcel bysea. ? Exercise: To compare two things using -er than
