  9. 2013 Government Shutdown Action • NAOC Letter to Congress published October 10th requesting: • Resolve Country’s Fiscal Crisis • Return to regular order • Letter Sent to: • Chairs and Ranking Members of the House and Senate Appropriations • Friends of NAOC List • NAOC Web Site • Theme of letter will be integrated into our outreach to Congress and a primary point during 2014 Congressional Visits

Key Actions You Can Take • Participate in Fly-In if Possible • Contact your local Congressional Delegation • Visit their staff • Attend Town Hall Meetings • Regularly send emails • Make your views known • Volunteer for the Government Affairs & Other Committees • Voice your desires within NAOC • Step up and lead ad-hoc working groups, committees, seek election to the Board of Directors • Make the Association work for the Good of All
