Introduction of Budweiser • Leading global brewer - Over $36 billion in revenue in 2010. • They own a 50% equity interest in the operating subsidiary of GrupoModelo, Mexico's leading brewer (Corona) • They employ approximately 114 000 people • They manage a portfolio of over 200 beer brands and hold the No. 1 or No. 2 position in 19 countries. • They announced Tuesday morning their plans to invest over $1 billion into its breweries nationwide. • Sceptical when they bought InBev, but the $52 bill price has paid off.
