A Minibeast Fairy tale. By Room 3
Once upon a time in a small class, at a small school, in a small town, there were some small Year 3 children. These small children wanted to study small, small creatures called Minibeasts. So their teacher said ”OK! We’ll do it!” The children were so excited they yelled “Yeah!” in very BIG voices.
SHHHHHHHHHHHh Said their teacher. Minibeasts are small, small creatures and they don’t like big, BIG noises. We need to be very, very, quiet when we look for them. So, the small children in room 3 went out to search for small Minibeasts around the school.
They found bees sucking nectar from flowers and spiders spinning their webs. Suddenly, one child spotted something strange in a clump of plants. “What are these Minibeasts called?” she whispered “Ahhh” said the teacher, “those are the minibeast fairies found only at Taitoko School. They make themselves visible to good, quiet speaking children.”
In a flash, the fairy beasts disappeared and all the children could see were masses of butterflies floating in the air. “That’s weird” yelled Marshal. “They look like us!”
In a small class, at a small school, in a small town, there were some very small fairy minibeasts that were luckily caught on photo. Funnily enough! They did look like some of the children in class. Leomay Pearce Ollie Tizhana Tevita Letia What an uncanny resemblance!
