  3. What They Do • Fly planes • Transports passengers and or flight • Inspects plane before flight

  4. Tools they use • They use computers • Steering wheels • Stabilizing instruments • Rarely fly by sight • Use autopilot

  5. Education and Training • 4 year bachelors degree • 1 year flight training • Not many flight schools in Wisconsin • Need to be 16 and have a 2.5 GPA • Could go through air force

  6. Related Jobs • Copilot • Airplane engineers • Technicians

  7. Salary • $56,620-$166,440+ • Need to have more flight hours to get more money • Or be there longer

  8. Schedules/hours • 160+ hours per month • Will work nights • Will work weekends • Will sometimes work holidays

  9. Good Things About Piloting • Get to travel to different states and countries • Excitement of flying • Good pay • Rewarding

  10. Bad Things About Piloting • Long hours away from home • Work nights and weekends • Don’t get to choose your hours • May be gone for holidays • Can be dangerous
