  2. Step By Step Guide Open the patient record in EMIS Web. Double click the I3 icon located on the desktop. Note: This will start the I3 software. Move on to the next slide.

  3. Step By Step Guide Click the Start button. Move on to the next slide. Additional Information Click the User Manual button or here to see an up to date version of the I3 user manual.

  4. Step By Step Guide Select the product GE-CAM USB from the product list. Click the Start button. Move on to the next slide.

  5. Step By Step Guide Check the patient details are correct then click the Yes button. Note: This will launch the Cardiosoft software. Move on to the next slide.

  6. Step By Step Guide Check that the electrodes are sufficiently connected to the patient. To check your electrode connection quality use the connectivity guide shown on screen. Green – Indicates good connectivity with the patient Yellow – Indicates a lead problem (high impedance) Red – Indicates that the electrode is disconnected from the patient 2. Click the ECG Acquisition button or button one on the device to acquire the ECG. 3. Click the Post Test Review button. Note: This will open the test summary screen. 4. Move on to the next slide.

  7. Step By Step Guide Close the Cardiosoft software using the red X symbol in the top right hand corner. Move on to the next slide. Additional Information The results can be printed at this stage by clicking the Print button from the right hand menu bar.

  8. Step By Step Guide Enter any required comments in to the comments box. Click the OK button. Move on to the next slide.

  9. Step By Step Guide Click the OK button on the confirmation message. Move on to the next slide.

  10. Step By Step Guide The ECG report is now filed in to EMIS Web in to consultation history. To view the ECG report – Double click on the paperclip icon. Move on to the next slide. Additional Information To view the report the computer will need Adobe Reader installed. This can be obtained from www.adobe.com

  11. Step By Step Guide The ECG report will contain the patient information, a breakdown of the measurements & the system interpretation. Additional Information The ECG report can be printed at this point or saved on to the PC and e-mailed. Move on to the next slide.
