Phonemic Segmentation Fluency • Oral assessment only (no student copies) - 1 minute • Repeat directions exactly • 3 second rule • Underline each sound segment produced correctly • Slash / through sounds produced incorrectly • Bracket ] after 1 minute • Discontinuation Rule • Articulation & Dialect • Score immediately – 1 point for each correct segment
