  2. Formative Assessment • Low-stakes with high reward • Students to receive feedback on their learning. • Teachers to receive feedback on their instructional methods. • Polleverywhere, infuselearning.com, Socrative

  3. Available as web-based (letsgeddit.com) or app (free) • Teacher and student accounts are free and can be linked to a Google login. • Students use an access code only once to become part of your class. • Students and teacher can look at previous lessons anytime. • Lessons are easily copied to other class periods or shared with other teachers.

  4. Teachers create lessons ahead of time using MC, short answer, long answer or poll. Spontaneous questions can also be asked. • Student responses are recorded along with their level of confidence (check in) for each answer. • Students can message a question to the teacher and the teacher can reply in real time or after class is over. • Questions may include images; basic equation editor

  5. Geddit and Statistics • Inspired by Best Practices 2013 - thank you Robin Levine-Wissing! Ask students to check a condition using short answer. Push three student responses back to the class asking them to rank the responses. • During project presentations all students participate in a “back channel” conversation controlled by the teacher. • Multiple Choice review questions
