Revolution of 1830 in France frightens Parliamentary leaders 1838-Chartist Movement sends demands to Parliament in the People’s Charter of 1838 The Right to Vote in Great Britain

  4. Correcting a myth! The tobacco was NOT named after the most well known Prince Albert of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha (pictured left). There were MANY Prince Alberts in European history. The can depicts a man with a full beard. The most famous Albert only wore mutton chops. Note the racism of the advertisement in 1907.
