  2. Travel to • I’d like to travel to Australia some day. • What’s one city you’d like to travel to, but never live in?

  3. Go on a trip • How many people have you gone on a trip with? 6? 7? 8? • What are the difficulties of going on a trip with so many people? • What do you prefer, going on a trip with a few people or going on a group trip?

  4. Return to the place you started • I’d like to return to Fort Wayne when I’m 65. • Would you like to return to your hometown some day?

  5. Pay an amount of money for something • I paid 1000 euros for Angel’s flight to the U.S. this summer. • What’s the most you’d ever paid for a gift for someone?

  6. Look for something you want to find • I’ve been looking all over my house for a battery charger that I can’t seem to find. • Have you ever looked formore than an hour for something in your house?

  7. Sell something to people for an amount of money • I sold my car to my father for 600 dollars. He took into account the money that I still owed him and discounted that from the price. • Have you ever sold anything to someone? • How much did you sell it for?

  8. Look out of a window • When I look out of the plane window, I like seeing the farmland below. • Do you like looking out of plane windows? What is the most beautiful view you’ve seen from a plane window?

  9. Spend an amount of money on something • I spent 90 euros on a haircut and color once. • How much do you usually spend on a haircut?

  10. Fly to a place • I’d like to fly to Alaska some day, but I’m afraid it’s a bit too cold for my liking there. • Would you like to fly to a certain city but you know that you’d hate it if you did?

  11. Talk about a topic • I like talking about sports, but sometimes I don’t know enough about the players to really have an opinion on certain topics.

  13. What would you include? • Next year scientists from the World Space Program are planning to send a spaceship to faraway planets to look for alien life. On this spaceship will be eight things from Earth. If another intelligent life form finds the spaceship, these things will show them what our planet, people and culture are like. What do you think they should put on the spaceship?
