Dynamics of the Consulting Projects • U.S. or foreign company • Interaction is often in a language other than English • Team members are MBAs from GBP Consortium Schools • 12 other CIBERs are involved • Kick-off meeting in DC • Weekly virtual team meetings • Trip to host country and company • Final deliverables • Grading by professors

GBP Timeline • Online application: Nov 15, 2010 at: • http://www.kenan-flagler.unc.edu/KI/ciber/gbp/index.cfm • Selection notifications & team assignments: Dec, 2010 • Student commitment: Late Dec, 2010 • $500 deposit due • GBP Kick-off Weekend in Washington, DC: Mar, 2011 • Trip to host country: May, 2011 • Language learning: Jan – Apr, 2011 • Complimentary Rosetta Stone course and evaluation

  7. GBP Costs • CIBER support • CIBER Schollarship - $1,000 • Instruction in the language of the host country • Students will pay • Remaining course fee - $1,750 • 3 Credit-value in the fall semester • Plane ticket to the host country • Most meals in host country
