GUESS Cognitive Evaluation
Background • In studies of cerebral circulation there is an absence of distinct criteria for explaining its physiologic sufficiency – the quality of brain function. The supreme indicator is the brain’s cognitive capabilities
Strategy • Comparison of the results of the cognitive brain activity is the key to determining efficient function of the complex and multi-linked physiological mechanisms by the final result of its activity — the quality of integrative brain activity. • An acceptable measurement of cognitive brain activity is the use of the “GUESS” test. This is a physiological test to determine the level of human intellectual possibilities. It provides immediate computer processing of the results of such testing based on a fundamental approach. Within a ten minute testing period the “GUESS” method allows evaluation of the level of cognitive brain functions such as attention, memory and thinking.
GUESS • To determine the quality of the brain cognitive activity and specifically human intellectual abilities a model has been constructed to take into account the psychological and neurophysiologic mechanisms of brain control.
GUESS Test Sequence • “GUESS” is based on computerized determination of a number of indices, reflecting the level of cognitive brain proprieties (prognosis capabilities, memory and attention) by challenging the subject to discover the prearranged sequence of two symbols presented by computer animation.
GUESS Test Evaluation • Accumulated test results have revealed that certain, unnoticeable, changes in physiological conditions can measurably alter intellectual activity parameters such as memory, various kinds of attention, and predictive behavior of any individual person. • As a total complex the indices generated by the “GUESS” test accurately reflect the subject’s state of cognitive brain function.
GUESS Test Program • The test can be “replayed”. And comparisons can be made to the subject’s current state of cognitive capability.
