Project Process • July ‘06 advertisement to public to re-convene Community Facilities Committee • August ‘06 Committee convenes, tours of all buildings and grounds take place • Fall ‘06 Committee assess needs in terms of Safety, Security, Building Code, and Program • Fall ‘06 Committee Reports to the Board and is then charged with making a project recommendation • Winter-Spring 06-07 Committee meets with architects to discuss options: • August 6, ‘07 BOE adopts a $23,872,700 Building Project with a Referendum vote date of September 25.

Character • Qualified Zone Academy Bond • $2.7 Million Dollar Interest Free Loan Provided the District can partner with a community entity which must provide a 10% match • International Paper has agreed to partner and work with the District to create an “Academy” which: • Instill Work-readiness skills to students • Make students aware of the types of character traits employers are seeking • Better prepare students for the challenges ahead in whatever path they choose • This opportunity expires on 12/31/07

Financing • QZAB- $2.7 Interest Free Loan- Expires 12/31 • EXCEL Aid- $700,00 State Grant which comes directly off the local share of the project • State Aid- TCS Building aid is 68%- We are currently working with SED on increasing the amount of scope to be aided • 20 year Bond, TCS will retire dept from three projects during the life of this bond • The tax impact will not take place until 2011
