  3. The Big Five Model • The MBTI is “popular” but not well respected by academics • However, research DOES support the idea of “The Big Five”: 1) Extroversion 2) Agreeableness 3) Conscientiousness 4) Emotional Stability 5) Openness to Experience

  4. What Are Emotions? AffectA broad range of emotions that people experience. EmotionsIntense feelings that are directed at someone or something. MoodsFeelings that tend to be less intense than emotions and that lack a contextual stimulus.
