  20. Maternal & Child Health • Support for pregnant mothers • BMI – less than 18.5 • And below poverty line • Need changes with the ground situation • Supporting midwife services • $ 12,000 – for 12 months (250 pregnant mothers)

  21. Child Health-Children’s homes • Health and Nutritional needs: $10,000 1-SAI in Mannar 2-Hindu Board-Thirunelvelli es $ 10,000

  23. Renal Services • Batticaloa – Dialysis machine $ 30,000 • Jaffna Erythropoietin Rs 1,000/pt ($2,500/year)

  24. Cardiology • Two peripheral centers (to reduce the mobidity and mortality) EKG machine ,cardiac monitor, defibrillator, etc. • Batticaloa Teaching Hospital -ECHO: $50,000 -External pace maker: $16,000
