KIDS TODAY ADULTS TOMORROW.. As Digital Immigrants and/or Digital Natives, we need make reading an opportunity for all students using the tools students will be expected to have when they graduate.
ENVIRONMENT The Millennial generation, or those born after 1981, currently represents 22 percent of all workers. However, by the year 2014 they are expected to represent almost 47 percent of the workforce.
ENVIRONMENT • What are the structural and physical arrangements of the environment? • What supports are available to both student and staff? • What materials and equipment are currently available? • What are the physical, instructional, and technological access issues? • What are the attitudes and expectations of the staff and family?
TASKS • What specific tasks occur in the environment that enables the student to progress to the goal? • What specific tasks are required for active involvement in the environment – such as communication and participation.
