HPV- OG VACCINATIONS FACTS • Livstidsrisikoen for at få en HPV-infektion er ca 80%, og for at livmoderhalskræft er ca 1%(ca 400/år i DK ) • Hpv er årsag til ca 1000 cancertilfælde/år i DK (Cervix, Vagina, Vulva, anal, penis, oro-pharynx, tonsiller, pharynx). • HPV-vaccination formodes at forebygge mere end 70% af alle HPV-relaterede cancersygdomme hos mænd og kvinder. • HPV-vaccination mod HPV-type 6 og 11 forebygger ca 90% af condylomer hos begge køn. • HPV-vaccinens relative risicoreduktion for HPV-relateret sygdom er ens for alle aldre, men den absolutte risicoreduktion afhængig af individuelle risikofaktorer og adfærd. • Alder • Antal sexuelle partnere, tidligere og aktuelt. • Tidligere behandlingskrævende celleforandringer eller condylomer. • Tobaksrygning • Medfødt eller induceret nedsat immunforsvar. • HPV-vaccination af gravid bør undgås, men indicerer ikke afbrydelse af svangerskabet ved accidental vaccination i graviditet. • Ammende kvinder kan godt vaccineres. • HPV-vaccination er uden alvorlige bivirkninger, og kan tilbydes/gives til alle. • Risikoen for bivirkning af HPV-vaccinen er 1000 gange mindre end risikoen for at få livmoderhalskræft !
