Testing Information SAT I and SAT II • Offered here on Nov 5, March 11, and June 3 • Registration deadline Oct 7 (for Nov. test) • Oct 1 SAT also available @ Hershey (late deadline is 9/20) • Can register online www.collegeboard.org • Take SAT II only if required by colleges (can take 3 in one morning) • OK to apply to colleges without fall scores – indicate if you are taking the SATs again on your applications

TESTING - continued ACT • Tests English, math, science, reading and optional writing • Offered at LD on December 10 (deadline: 11/24) • Also offered at HACC on Oct 22 (deadline: 9/16) • Must upload photo on Admission Ticket when you register! And bring photo ID to test site • Register online at www.actstudent.org

(counseling office has names/contacts available) • Tech School?—where? Certification program? Associate’s degree? • Community College/Junior College- Transfer? Degree? • Work?—full time? College Rep Visits • Log in to Naviance • Upcoming college visits listed on main page • To sign up for a visit, click More Info/Register (this will give you the entire list of visiting college reps) • Click on Information for more specifics about the visit • Click on Sign Up to register • Print screen to use as your pass or show teacher on your device • Take advantage of these opportunities to meet with Admissions reps!

MAJOR CHANGE!!! • Seniors and their parents can now apply for financial aid starting in October of the senior year (was Jan 1) • You and your parents can file a FAFSA beginning on Oct 1 • Applicants can use tax information from 2015 • Pay attention to financial aid deadlines at each individual college—they are different from school to school • More financial aid info coming to you in October
