  3. But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 

  4. 23 gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things!

  5. Happiness is dependent upon what is happeningto me.

  6. Joyis based upon my relationship& growthin Jesus.

  7. Joy defined in the scripture means, “to leapor spinaround with pleasure, gladness, bliss, and celebration.

  8. Romans 15:13

  9. 13I pray that God, the source of hope, will fill you completely with joy and peace because you trust in him. Then you will overflow with confident hope through the power of the Holy Spirit.

  10. John 15:11

  11. I have told you these things so that you will be filled with my joy. Yes, your joy will overflow!

  20. 4 Day and night your hand of discipline was heavy on me. My strength evaporated like water in the summer heat. 

  21. 5 Finally, I confessed all my sins to you and stopped trying to hide my guilt. I said to myself, “I will confess my rebellion to the Lord.” And you forgave me! All my guilt is gone. 

  22. 6 Therefore, let all the godly pray to you while there is still time, that they may not drown in the floodwaters of judgment.

  24. Purify me from my sins, and I will be clean; wash me, and I will be whiter than snow.

  25. 8 Oh, give me back my joy again; you have broken me—now let me rejoice.

  36. Shout joyful praises to God, all the earth!

  37. 2  Sing about the glory of his name! Tell the world how glorious he is.

  38. 3 Say to God, “How awesome are your deeds! Your enemies cringe before your mighty power.

  39. 4 Everything on earth will worship you; they will sing your praises, shouting your name in glorious songs.”

  40. 4. Experiences of sorrowprepare for & enlarge the capacity for joy.

  42. Dear brothers and sisters, when troubles come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy.

  44. My joy can only growas my walk with Jesus grows
