Internship sequence • Internship prep (ideally soph/jr) • May continue with internship or not • Internship in schools (ideally jr)
Internship in schools • Available each semester • Up to 10 students • Placement preK – college • School psychologist, counselor, social worker, special education • 3 credits • 6 hours in school, 3 credit on campus • Syllabus
Problems and Benefits • Difficult to set up placements • Labor intensive • Limited availability • Great experience for students • Helps with grad school decisions and applications
