Blood Cancer & Its Types Blood Cancer is one of the most common forms of cancer among humans.  Here are a few things to know about Blood Cancer: Symptoms: Blood Cancer has number of symptoms Fatigue & nausea Fever & night sweats Joint pain & swollen lymph nodes Low appetite with sudden weight loss Bleeding of gums Frequent headaches & visual difficulties Itchy skin & rashes Pain in the abdomen Types: Blood Cancer has three types Leukemia: It is caused by production of abnormal white blood cells in the bone marrow. This in turn reduces bone marrow's ability to produce red blood cells & fight infection. Lymphoma: It affects the lymphatic system. Abnormal lymphocytes multiply and accumulate in lymph nodes preventing removal of excess fluids, thus  impairing immunity. Myeloma: It affects plasma cells which produce antibodies.
