BOOKS by Alice A Bailey
Are you looking for books or extracts from books by Alice A Bailey? Alliancesforhumanity.com provides three of her books and a number of quotes pulled from her literature. • She published twenty-four books on theosophical and occult subjects, and was one of the first writers in recent history to discuss New Age concepts. • Bailey was born in 1880 as Alice La Trobe-Bateman, in Manchester England. • She was born to a wealthy middle-class British family, was a member of the Anglican Church and had a thorough Christian Education.
At the age of 22, Bailey did evangelical work with the YMCA as well as the British Army. • She moved to the United States in 1907. In November of 1919 she began to work with the Tibetan in producing the books they’re known for. • The Bailey literature is a continuation of the work started by Helena P. Blavatsky and the Theosophical Society.
The books discuss the laws of existence and evolutionary development. Such laws are part of the larger doctrine known as The Occult Sciences. • They make clear the nature of the Soul of man and its systematic and cosmetic relationships. • They reveal the relationships between the self and the sheaths which that self may use, and thus clarify our thoughts as to the constitution of man.
