Graphic Design • Graphic designers work with drawn, painted, photographed, or computer-generated images but they also design the letterforms that make up various typefaces found in movie credits and TV ads; in books, magazines, and menus; and even on computer screens. • Graphic design is a creative process that combines art and technology to communicate ideas. The designer works with a variety of communication tools in order to convey a message from a client to a particular audience. The main tools are image and typography.

Uses of Graphic Design There are several fields in which graphic designs are used like: • For designing company’s logos • For designing companies, cards, brochures and banners etc • For value packaging • For website designing • For building image in social media • For three dimensional designs

UI Design • User interface design is the design of websites, computers, appliances, machines, mobile communication devices, and software applications with the focus on the user's experience and interaction. The goal of user interface design is to make the user's interaction as simple and efficient as possible, in terms of accomplishing user goals what is often called user-centered design. UI designers figure out how software and users interact with each other.

UX Design • UX (User experience) encompasses all aspects of the end-user's interaction with your company, its services, and its products. • User Experience is any aspect of a person's interaction with a given IT system, including the interface, graphics, industrial design, physical interaction, and the manual. In most cases, User Experience Design (UXD or UED) fully encompasses traditional Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) design, and extends it by addressing all aspects of a product or service as perceived by users.

  6. UI v/s UX • UX design deals with the overall experience associated with the use of a product or service. • UI design deals with the specific user interface(s) of a product or service. The UI can be a component of UX, but many user experiences don't have UIs. The design of a UI will be heavily informed by the UX design. The UX design will be less informed by the UI.

  7. Importance of graphic design Graphic Design is something which drives advertising and attracts us to brands. That is why it is said Graphic Design is so important to our everyday lives. As the global market shrinks with the ever growing reach of technology the need for that eye catching graphic becomes more and more valuable to a business. Graphics are required in our every day’s life. The strong meaning of graphic stimulates a person to reach for the product or feel drawn to it or to immediately decide its an inferior product and has no use for it.
