  2. NATIONAL SCHOOL SPORTS WEEK “Take part in Lloyds TSB National School Sport Week, and use the power of London 2012 to inspire your pupils to take part in more sport and to understand the value of sport.” Baroness Sue Campbell CBE, Chair of the Youth Sport Trust

  3. AIMS OF THE WEEK… • To get as many pupils participating and experiencing a variety of new, and where possible, Olympic sporting activities

  4. MONDAY 28TH JUNE • RAF coming into school to deliver 3 motivational sessions throughout the day.

  5. TUESDAY 29TH JUNE • ROLLER DISCO for all of Year 9 (2 sessions am/pm) • Year 12’s will also be invited to an optional session during period 3.

  6. WEDNESDAY 30TH JUNE • CHINA DAY (Year 8) Art, Dance and table tennis • Fencing taster sessions ; Maths and Science gifted and talented students • Archery sessions

  7. THURSDAY 1ST JULY • Approx 50 Year 10 pupils (girls) will be spending the day at Stafford MOD army base. • Extreme golf sessions for PE gifted and talented pupils (am/pm sessions)

  8. THURSDAY 1ST JULY • Flexible learning day with an Olympic theme

  9. FRIDAY 2ND JULY • Remainder of Year 10 pupils to go to Stafford MOD army base. • Mini Olympics for Year 7 (am) and Year 8 (pm), organised by Emily Nancarrow. BTEC Sport students to help in the running of this event.
