netCentral Overview • Monitor events from multiple DVR sites. Events could be detected by video signal loss, video detection, sensor detection and manual trigger. • Events are notified by sending live video, video frames, and alarm message. • Handles up to 64 events simultaneously. • Event log by site ID, event type, event time, received time and event detail. • Display event camera only. • By TCP/IP connection. • Record event video at local or get event record from remote DVR site. • Four ways to notify an event: send event live video, send even record, send event snapshots and send event message.

Report to netCentral • The IP address could be a domain name. • DVR gets the video TCP port and voice TCP port internally from netCentral. • netCentral verifies the Site ID and password first before accepting an event notification.
What Kinds of Events • Each camera has the option to report events to netCentral Event could be: - Video signal loss - Motion video detected - Sensor device detected - triggered by manual

Event Camera Split Screens Press the button to close the camera view. Event camera, Display automatically with red caption bar Reference camera, dragged from event DVR list. Display PTZ control panel Display I/O control panel. Go to the next page. Go to the previous page. Select the layout from 1, 4, 9, 16, 25, 36, 49 and 64 split screens.
Event Camera Split Screens If all split screens are used and a new event occurs, netCentral will: Step 1: Choose the oldest event to replace with the new event. OR Step 2: Ask the user to close an event first to display the new event.
Control PTZ Camera Pan/tilt movement PTZ Button Step 1: Press the PTZ button to display the PTZ control panel. Step 2: Select a PTZ camera to control it. Step 3: Press the PTZ button again to display DVR site list. Zoom in/out 8 presets
Control Output Device Step 1: Press the I/O button to display I/O control panel. Step 2: Click the Output tab to display output devices. Step 3: Select an event to choose the DVR site. Step 4: Press an output button to trigger the device remotely. Step 5: Press the I/O button again to display DVR site list.
Display Input Device Status Step 1: Press the I/O button to display I/O control panel. Step 2: Click the Input tab to display input devices. Step 3: Select an event to choose the DVR site. Step 4: Input tab displays the current status of input devices. Step 5: Press the Refresh button to update status from remote DVR site. Step 6: Press the I/O button again to display DVR site list.

Remove itself from the list automatically if none of its camera has an event. List all cameras belonging to the event DVR site. Drag a non-event camera to split screen to be a reference camera.
Event List Mark an important event. The event has a video record or snapshots attached. The event has video recordings locally, either recorded locally or downloaded from remote. Unread event is displayed by bold text. Read event is displayed by normal text. Marked event is displayed in blue color.
Event Information • Mark - Mark important events for searching quickly. • Attachment - Either event video recordings or event snapshots prepared by DVR site. • Local Record - Event video recordings that are recorded at local DVR site or downloaded from remote DVR site. • Site ID - Display the site ID of DVR. • Event Type - Display the event type. It could be signal loss, motion, intruder sensor or manual event. • Event Time - Display the time that the event has been triggered at DVR site. • Received Time - Display the time that netCentral receives the event notification. • Event Detail - Display the event information.
Event List Control Download video recordings from remote DVR site *. Play video recordings or display snapshots. Maximize the window of event list. Remove selected events. Insert event list file. Backup event list to file. Invoke event filter to find targets. Mark selected events. Note*: If the event record at remote DVR site is too long, a limitation period is defined in preferences for downloading.

Preference/General Specify the IP address and TCP port for remote DVR sites to report to. When in dual screens mode, one screen displays event cameras and another screen displays event list. To operate the netCentral, an ID and password verification is applied first. If the ID and password field is left blank, no verification is performed. Limit the event record length, for both local recording and remote downloading. If the option is not checked, the event record length is the event length.
Preference/Storage Supports multiple storage records. Each storage record can keep a minimum space free. Record event by default Click to enable the recycling of storage records. Click to define a duration for event logs. Click the button to delete all video recordings and snapshots.

Preference/Alarm Specify the color of event notification in top caption. Click to enable alarm sound when receiving an event notification.
Preference/Voice Communication Specify the voice input device and its volume. Specify the voice playback device and its volume. Press the button to test voice input and playback.
