Organizational Preparation EES Webinar/Live Meeting Training Modules • Live Meeting Training modules cover all one needs to know on how to create and deliver a Live Meeting. • This training starts scheduling a Live Meeting to how to end and exit a Live Meeting. • The files may be viewed collectively, independently, or as a simple refresher. • The videos are no more than two to three minutes and provide a demonstration of that particular Live Meeting topic. Face to Face Training EES provides guidance on how to conduct a face to face training in areas of: • Instructional Design • Venue Procurement • Budget Management • SharePoint site full of resources and information These are held during training sessions for all face to face training staff on a weekly basis

Organizational Preparation Emerging trends in e-Learning include: • Virtual learning platforms that enable collaborative, social and formal learning opportunities through interactions with learning resources, instructors and peers • No need to commit the time and funds associated with employee travel to a training event. • EES is also expanding into mobile learning (mLearning) so we can truly offer VHA employees anytime-and-anywhere access to training from their mobile devices SimLEARN • While the use of simulation for healthcare training and education is not new to VHA, it has become critical for VHA to develop an integrated approach to better realize the maximum benefits of simulation for VHA staff and the Veterans they serve. • SimLEARN facilitates calls for simulation champions and others throughout the VA who are interested in acquiring more information regarding simulation. Whether you are planning, implementing, evaluating, or revising your simulation programs, this call is for you!
