General information • Spectre is a spy movie in the James bond series • It was released October 26 2015 in the united states • It was directed by Sam Mendes and produced Michael G.Wilson, Barbara Broccoli • Production Company Eon Productions, Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, Columbia Pictures • Cast = Daniel Craig as James Bond, Lea Seydoux as Madeleine , Mocia Bellucci as Lucia Sciarra

Narrative • We get a establishing shot of a man sitting in a suit in a helicopter were we get zoomed in on the ring • Where we then get a montage of him in different situation • This makes clear that he is the main character as we get him to know first • We get close ups of a naked women with an octobus which was also shown on the ring so this has probably to do with the ring • Overall theres a lot of hectic chaos with the women and the octobus and fire as well the end where it turns complety different setting to grey is shown this all could be important for the movie as it shows The man and the women are standing in arelationship to each other

  4. Target audience • More male than female as the main character is male as it is about fighting and lots of action and drama • Age between 25-60 • As the main character is white man it can be targeting more white people • Rich upper class as everything is fancy suit etc.

Genre • Guns at the end , Man in suit connotes power action • Fire death all shows violence • Hectic chaotic this shows action things are happening at the same time • A love story between the man and octobus women which gives the final touch for a perfect man • Overall this genre is easy to understand because it has lots of key convetion like the colors dark and chaotic which shows actions

Key MOMENTS • Camera work • We get a extrem zoom in a close up to the ring which then go into the montage which shows the ring has something to do with the actions after • Sound • We get the song the writing on the wall playing as a non diegtic sound this matches good with guns and what is showing

  7. Editing • Montage of the women and of the man being Sexual • This clearly shows the relationship between them and that this relationship is probably important in the future • As well it shows that there are lots of different actions happening to make it more interesting

  8. Conclusion • I think it’s a successful opening scene as it creates a lot of tension and mystery that makes the audience gets interest in wachting the whole movie this is because of enigma and action codes • Its also easy to see to understand that’s in action movie because it has all of the elements needed to create a action movie
